For all the best gay attractions and action, stick close to Downtown. There are plenty of pubs and upscale eateries with several bars and clubs sprinkled in between.
Although there is no bad time to take a trip to Colorado, the Spring and Summer months will offer warm weather and smaller crowds. Once the snow comes, so do the travelers looking to spend a weekend on the slopes. As the second largest city in the state, and being so close to so many natural wonders, there are always a ton of folks looking to experience the majesty of the outdoors.
Colorado Springs may not be as liberal as Denver, but it is certainly on its way to being an inclusive and welcoming city.
